November 2017- Weston, WV
Trans-Allegheny
Lunatic Asylum
The FiFP team first visited this location back in 2017 and are planning to return in November 2021. The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, also known as the Weston State Hospital, was used as a sanctuary for the mentally ill in the mid 1800's. It is a nationally recognized historic landmark and is loaded with history. Civil War soldiers camped in the foundation while it was constructed during the war and the back property contains a mass grave. Due to overcrowding and physical deterioration of the facility, the doors were closed in 1994.
FUN FACT: This was Alex Gaddy's first ever paranormal investigation and caused him to hyperventilate. He made a full recovery.

December 2019- Estes Park, CO
The Stanley Hotel
The team traveled across the country to visit the renowned Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. It was built by inventor Freelan Oscar Stanley of Stanley Steamer and his wife, Flora. The hotel was opened to the public in 1909 and has been restored several times over the years. Today they offer daily historical tours for anyone interested.
FUN FACT: The Stanley is famous for hosting novelist Stephen King and the hotel served as inspiration for the Overlook Hotel in King's bestseller The Shining. The Stanley features several rooms with high paranormal activity that are frequently requested.
November 2019- Villisca, IA
Villisca Ax
Murder House
The team investigated the Villisca Ax Murder House back in 2019. The story goes that the entire family of Josiah Moore and two guests were murdered in this house in June of 1912, but the murderer was never caught. Many paranormal investigators have reported activity like childrens' voices, falling lamps, and flying objects. The House is open for both daylight and overnight tours.

Lincoln Cultural Center
Built in 1922, this Classic Revival-style building is known for amazing plays, art displays, a magnificent stained glass Rosette window, and much more. Their mission is to promote the appreciation and participation in the arts. This building has a lot of history, and every piece of equipment that FiFP owns has been activated at some point on this property.
FiFP considers this location their "investigation home" and the team conducts frequent investigations here.

Lincoln County Courthouse
Lincoln County Courthouse is a historic building designed by Raleigh architect James A. Salter and built in 1921. FiFP has investigated the courthouse three times in the past three years. While the first investigation was fairly quiet, we had tons of activity the second and third visits.
