EQUIPMENT

We get a lot of inquiries about the type of equipment we use on our investigations. Click on a picture below to learn more about each piece. Most everything can be found online at Ghost Stop, The Ghost Hunter Store, or Amazon.

The REM pod uses an antenna to radiate low a low electromagnetic field to detect activity around it. It will react to energy around it by beeping and flashing colored lights.

EMF (electromagnetic frequency) meters are used to take environmental readings. The antenna detects electromagnetic energy. The stronger the current, the higher the EMF reading.

We use the flashlight for most of our investigations. It is believed that if a spirit gets close, the light will flicker on or off and we use it to try and communicate.

The Rook EMF meter detects small changes in electromagnetic energy and alerts with lights and sound.

A Structured Light Sensor (SLS) camera has an infrared light projector with a sensor that shows everything as dots arranged in 3D formation. These infrared dots allow the camera to show depth and detail. The software “sees” people by recognizing joints and movements and can detect paranormal entities that it recognizes as a human shape based on body parts and joints.

The laser grid is meant to be used in extremely dark rooms or hallways. The forms of the grids can be changed to different patterns, and when you shine it across a large wall, hopefully a shadow will break the beams so they can be seen moving in the dark.

Forward-looking infrared (FLIR) thermal cameras can detect tiny differences in temperature, and these differences are converted into electric signals as shown on the screen as color variations. This tool allows you to see things more clearly in the dark.

We use this speaker to connect to our SB7 or SB11 for louder projections of voices so that everyone may hear more clearly.

We use multiple voice recorders to record an audio backup during investigations. That way, we can capture any electronic voice phenomenon (EVPs) that one would not normally hear, then play them back.
